Jess Weller, Counsellor & Transformational Coach

Kia Ora, I’m Jess

I am a person who is fascinated by people, why they do what they do and how they achieve their goals, hopes and dreams. For as long as I can remember I have also been intrigued by human thought, emotion, behaviour, communication and relationships. As well as how to manage these effectively in times of stress, grief, heartache, struggle and hardship.

Through my own life journey I have been confronted by challenges - including depression and a cancer diagnosis as a young woman. Getting through these challenges saw me reach out to a variety of healers who offered skills and support, to help me to live beyond these experiences.

The work I do offers transformation for my clients. I support conversations that cultivate self-enquiry and self-care that empowers clients to live their best lives.

"Working with Jess made me realise that happiness is internal not external. My wife has noticed how differently I respond to situations and I've become more present with my family and in my work."

Experience and areas of interest

As a qualified counsellor and a transformational coach, areas that I have supported people in include and are not limited to: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, emotional regulation, trauma, identity, gender, relationships and cancer.

I have a passion for personal growth and self-development which over time has seen me develop deep levels of self-inquiry, enabling me to better understand the unconscious mind, the ego and how the body holds trauma.

I have a broad range of experience working with youth in educational settings across a range of age groups as well private work with adults - both men and women.
